Roofing in Saggart, Dublin 24
Saggart keeps its village feel, tucked under the Dublin Mountains at the end of the Luas red line, with the old mill cottages, the church and the main street surrounded by newer estates towards Citywest.
The village mixes older cottages with slate roofs and chimney stacks, and modern semis and townhouses with concrete tiles. On the older houses the chimneys take the weather from the mountains, so flashings, flaunching and pointing need checking after a hard winter.
Higher ground means more wind. Saggart roofs lose ridge tiles and verge caps in storms more often than roofs down in the city, and blocked gutters overflow quickly when rain comes down off the hills.
From our base at Baldonnell we are minutes away, so we can quote quickly, fix the problem and leave the site clean and tidy.
