Expert RooferVerified memberA new roof built properly, layer by layer.
When a roof has been patched for years and still lets water in, the trouble sits under the covering: tired felt, rotten battens and fixings that no longer hold. A new roof deals with all of it. We strip the old slates or tiles, check the rafters, then lay new breathable membrane, new treated battens, new slates or tiles and new ridge, hip and verge details.
Our own photographs show the method on Dublin homes: bungalows stripped to new membrane in a day, estate semis re-battened with the old tiles stacked ready to relay or replace, and full slate re-roofs finished with new lead valleys and roof vents. Slate, fibre cement slate and concrete tile all go on the same way, done properly from the rafters up.
You get a free quote with the work set out clearly, a fully qualified team with over 20 years' experience, and a 5-year guarantee on the finished roof.
