Expert RooferVerified memberStop the chimney letting water into the house.
The chimney is the most exposed part of most Dublin roofs, and one of the most common places for a leak to start. Mortar washes out of the joints, the flaunching around the pots cracks, and the lead flashing where the stack meets the slates lifts or splits. Water then runs down inside the breast and shows up as a stain on the wall or ceiling.
We repoint brickwork, rebuild damaged or leaning stacks, replace pots, cap disused flues and replace failed lead flashing. Our own photographs show a stack rebuilt from the roof in blockwork, then rendered and finished with new pots. One customer whose chimney flashing was leaking very badly had the quote the same day and all the lead flashing replaced two days later.
Free quote, very competitive pricing and a 5-year guarantee on the work.
